SettleBrook does not have user accounts. We do not require registration, login, or any form of identification to use our calculators. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or mailing address
• Social Security numbers, insurance policy numbers, or claim numbers
• Any dollar amounts, medical details, or injury information you enter into our calculators
• Payment information of any kind
• Government-issued identification numbers

All calculator inputs are processed entirely in your browser. No form values leave your device and no server receives your calculation data. When you close the page or browser tab, all entered data is gone.

Like virtually all websites, SettleBrook's hosting infrastructure (Vercel) automatically logs standard server-level data when your browser requests a page. This includes:

• Your IP address (used for routing; not stored by us)
• Browser type and version
• Operating system
• Referring URL
• Pages visited and timestamps

Vercel's infrastructure logs are retained according to Vercel's own privacy policy. We do not have independent access to raw server logs and do not use them for identification or marketing.

SettleBrook itself does not set first-party cookies. However, third-party services we use — specifically Google AdSense and Google Analytics — do set cookies in your browser. These cookies are subject to Google's privacy policies, not ours.

Google AdSense Cookies

We display advertisements through Google AdSense to support the free operation of this site. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Google Analytics Cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns — which pages are visited, how long people spend on the site, and which calculators are most used. This data is anonymous and aggregated; it cannot be used to identify individual visitors.

However, to the extent third-party services (Google) process data about you through our site, you retain the following rights:

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its amendment the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have specific rights regarding their personal information. We disclose the following in compliance with those requirements:

We do not sell personal information. SettleBrook has not sold, and does not sell, any personal information belonging to California residents. No “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” opt-out link is required because we have no personal data to sell.

California residents have the right to: (a) know what personal information is collected, used, shared, or sold; (b) delete personal information held by businesses; (c) opt-out of the sale of personal information; and (d) non-discrimination for exercising CCPA rights. Because we collect no personal data, rights (a) through (c) are largely moot, but we will respond to any CCPA request within 45 days.
